What counts as a paid worker
Anyone who received at least one invoice in the calendar month. A worker on leave for the whole month, or one who was added but not yet paid, costs nothing. Admins, viewers and managers are never counted.

Questions people ask before signing
Is there an implementation fee?
No. Most teams run their first live close within two weeks, with a pilot team first. Our onboarding lead sits in on the first two closes.
Do we need a time tracker?
No. We can pay from platform or app activity, or from a plain timesheet, and add a tracker later. Teams with a tracker get the full block map; teams without get the platform day span snapped to blocks.
Is the AI deciding pay?
No. The AI reviews corrections and flags risk. A person approves every change, and the audit trail shows who.
Can we keep Deel or Remote?
Yes. If you need an employer of record for compliance, we sit beside them and feed them the hours. Most customers keep the EOR for contracts and use us for the hours and the money.
What about taxes?
We are not a tax or EOR product. We produce the hours, invoices and payouts; your existing provider or accountant handles filings.
